Black Chrome Mine (BCM), is a high-value chrome concentrate producer situated in the central region of Eastern Limb of the Bushveld Igneous Complex on the Mooihoek farm, in the Limpopo province, 100km southeast of the town of Polokwane.
The mining operations encompassed both opencast and underground extraction methods.
The mine boasts an exceptional geological profile, hosting two premium-grade chromite reefs, LG6 and LG6A, known for their superior ore quality that is processed to produce chrome concentrate.
